Bronze sculpture
My bronze sculptures start with a drawing and evolve into clay or wax and then are cast at the foundry using the lost wax process. Modeling in clay or wax is an additive process where the artist can create a form, remove it and try again or modify it until it is just as envisioned. My abstract bronze sculptures often are thought to be made in stone as they echo the forms of my marble pieces

In this bronze sculpture the smooth, free-flowing curves trace seamlessly and draw the viewer to explore it from every angle. The play of the two forms creates a dialogue between positive and negative space.

The fascinating thing about sculpture is that the viewer is an active participant -walking around to see the whole thing, to follow its movement and engage with the forms. The two forms come together creating a negative space endowed with dynamic energy. Overall the piece is serene, self-contained and communicative.
